- 원본 JPG에 이미 있던 압축 손실은 PNG로 바꿔도 복구되지 않습니다. PNG는 '지금부터' 화질을 보존할 뿐입니다.
- JPG에는 투명 영역이 없으므로 변환된 PNG의 배경도 투명이 아닌 불투명한 색으로 채워집니다. 투명 배경이 필요하면 별도 편집이 필요합니다.
- PNG는 사진의 경우 같은 이미지라도 JPG보다 파일 용량이 훨씬 커질 수 있습니다.
- Compression artifacts already baked into the original JPG won't be recovered by converting to PNG. PNG only preserves quality from this point on.
